Usha Hariharan

With over 20 years of experience as an international educator across the Middle East, Europe, and India, Usha brings a deep passion for learning, empowerment, and innovation to the foundation. Armed with a Master’s degree in Teaching, she has dedicated her career to designing impactful programs that inspire, coach, and prepare young learners for the future.

Usha’s work in developing and implementing pioneering STEM learning initiatives has shown her how curiosity and creativity can transform lives. Now, she brings that same belief in transformation to the foundation, ensuring that single mothers and their children have access to opportunities that help them thrive.

At the Smt Jayalakshmi Memorial Single Mother Foundation, Usha channels this experience into shaping programs that not only support single mothers but also nurture the aspirations of their children. She believes education is a powerful pathway to dignity and opportunity—helping families break cycles of dependence and build futures of strength and independence.

"We believe every mother holds the key to her own transformation. Our work is to help her unlock that potential because every mother and child deserve the chance to dream again."
